1. Who you're dealing with

Simple Cents Studio is operated by Simple Cents Studio ("Simple Cents Studio", "we", "us"). By using this website, subscribing to the newsletter, or purchasing an ebook, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What we provide

Simple Cents Studio publishes personal-finance articles and printables, a free newsletter, and paid digital ebooks. Everything published here is general educational information — not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.

3. Payments and merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, taxes, and billing mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading.
• Redistribute, resell, or share ebooks you've purchased.
• Interfere with the service — no scraping at scale, no probing security, no automated abuse.
• Infringe intellectual property or send spam through any Simple Cents Studio channel.

5. Intellectual property

All content — articles, essays, ebooks, images, and branding — belongs to Simple Cents Studio. When you buy an ebook, you get a personal, non-transferable license to read it. You don't get the right to redistribute, republish, or resell it.

6. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a product through one, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our editorial opinions — we accept commissions, not editorial payment.

7. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all digital product purchases. Refunds are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. See our Refund Policy for how to request one.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment (in the rare case of chargebacks), suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations.

9. Service level and warranties

The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
