About

A quieter kind of money publication.

About us

Simple Cents Studio is an independent personal-finance publication for slow-money savers. It exists because most money advice online is loud, urgent, and built around things that rarely work — hot tips, overnight wealth, and apps that promise more than they deliver.

The approach here is the boring one: automate savings, keep costs low, track where the money actually goes, and give it time. It is not exciting, and it is not fast — but it is the part of personal finance that holds up.

Simple Cents Studio is a small, new, independent operation. Everything published here — the articles, the free printables, the calculators, and the ebooks — is general educational content, researched and written in plain English. We are not financial advisors, we do not accept payment for coverage, and nothing here is a guarantee of income, savings, or investment returns. Please treat it as a starting point, not personalised advice.

How we make money

Two ways. First, affiliate commissions: if we link to a tool and you sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Second, our ebooks and bundles.

We do not, and never will, accept payment in exchange for positive coverage. If you spot something that reads like a paid placement, tell us and we'll correct or remove it.

Our editorial rules

  • Say plainly when something is a general explainer rather than first-hand experience.
  • Disclose every commercial relationship, including affiliate links.
  • Correct or remove anything that turns out to be wrong or out of date.
  • Never promise a return, an income, or a guaranteed result.
